Searching for a job … where to look?

Just search for the company you’re interested and check out their available jobs. At this point, you can also see who are the current or past employees. If you have any friends or colleagues, ask them to introduce you.

Get introduced

Check the company’s profile or website and see who is running that company. Now, search their names on LinkedIn under “Search people”. Click on the appropriate search result and use the feature “get introduced through a connection” ( which is free ) or use “Inmail” ( available only for paid accounts ) to connect to that person.

Search jobs openings by job title

Basic job search allows you to search for jobs by entering keyword(s). For example, entering “software developer” as a keyword will show you all job openings containing “software” or “developer” in title.

Advanced job search” allows you to easily perform a job search using the keyword(s) together with location, industry or experience level.

These simple tips won’t guarantee you a job but will help to turn odds in your favor.

Good luck.
